Subscribe to Introduce your bad indie self I was doubtful

I am brand new to biznik and was a real doubter of online networking. I thought the magic of my website alone would get me the business I need, cute I know. I promise despite my jaded logic I am a smart, young businesswomen...But much to my shock I have already received messages from some of you and have set up my first meeting. I am really excited about opening new avenues for my business and just getting to know those who have the same business philosophies as me. So what is it that I do? Well I decided to live by the motto, do what you are and I am a planner. I have been a corporate event planner for a few years now working for one company and doing all of their marketing and event planning. I just recently decided to go into business for myself and it's a little scary. So now I am an official event planner and wedding coordinator and am loving what I am doing. I am looking to meet people in opposite industries who can share networking avenues, those in the same industry to share advice, experiences, and networking, and I am also looking for a mentor. Send me a message; I am looking forward to hearing from you

    Welcome to Biznik Emily!

I'm also a bit new to Biznik and I love it! Most of the Biznik members are nice and friendly.

I hope you have the same great experience as me.

    See you around,

    Welcome, Emily!

Until Biznik, I hated networking, too. Although, I'm too far away to attend any events anywhere...and only one person I've invited has joined (do I smell?) it's still a fantastic site with some of the most open minded and creative people you'll ever meet! It's addicting!

Welcome Emily! I just joined as well and I've been very slow to really start using online resources for my business. Biznik looks like it's a great place to network. Best of luck!

just joined 3 days ago miself. I just wrote you for the network possibilities believing in the system wholey. Networks as a gardener work too, web-like. Spiders are good too! I already have too much on my plate-though will visit biz for help in growth, and attending social gatherings. Cheers!

I just joined yesterday and did so slightly grudgingly for the same reasons. online networking always seems so lame. Maybe it's the colors, maybe it's something else, but this site seems more personable and real somehow. I have hopes! I just got married in July, too bad I didn't know you before then...

Welcome Emily. I'm new to biznik as well. However, I've been networking online since 1998. As a result, about 85% of my business is with clients outside of the Pacific Northwest.

    emily,

glad you are here. would love to have you at our wedding industry event..perhaps we should have a parallel group that explores B2B event coordination.. anyways, hope to see you somewhere soon..if not at our event then perhaps at another biznik function..
