Subscribe to Introduce your bad indie self Looking to connect...

Hello, my name is Angie and I am new to biznik. I am looking to connect with seasoned biznikers who may give me some guidance on how to network with others who may actually need my services. I own and housecleaning company but provide many other services as well.

    Hi, Angie,

Welcome to Biznik! I know you've been here a while, and it sounds like you're looking for some information on how to best use the Biznik site, and the connections to make here, to grow your business.

My first suggestion for you would be to attend "How to Network the Biznik Way" on July 22 or August 12. (I know the July 22 one is full now, but there are always cancellations, so keep checking the page!

Second, I would encouage you to attend a few events where you can start to build personal relationships with other Bizniks. It'll be so easy and natural for you to ask them, once that connection is made, to share with you their Biznik success stories! A few events I'd recommend include one of Howard Howell's lunches (like Greet, Eat and Meet in Bellevue on July 15) or Elizabeth Lee's next Happy Hour event. These folks host GREAT events where you'll have the opportunity to meet lots of Bizniks in a casual, fun atmosphere.

Finally, I see you're in Edmonds - I work in Edmonds! So if you'd ever like to have coffee and chat about Biznik or anything else, feel free to give me a call (425.275.9458) and we'll put something on the calendar.

    Good luck!

    Valerie

Welcome! I really liked your website. Housecleaning services are becoming more and more valuable and because it takes place in one's personal space (home, etc.), networking is probably one of the best way to grow business. I hope Biznik provides you with many opportunities... best, Karen
