Subscribe to Introduce your bad indie self Love to dance to a wide variety of uplifting music? Me, too!

Hi! I'm new to Biznik and am looking forward to getting to know you, and perhaps dancing with you! My passions for music and dance turned into Dance Sanctuary, a retreat-style space where you can enjoy the exhilarating high of freestyle dancing to wildly uplifting music in a substance-free environment. We have an amazing community of authentic folks! Everyone is welcome.

I noticed a fantastic discussion about music on Jeff's self-intro, and would love your input on great dance music! I especially go for off-the-beaten-track artists. I play world music, rock, drumming, tribal, electronica, funk, ethereal, chanting, and more. Three of my favorite esoteric world music finds are: Larisa Stow and Shakti Tribe (hard-rockin' Hindi chanting, of all things!), Rajaton (intricate, flowy Finnish a capella), and Oceania (highly danceable, contemporary Maori).

I would LOVE to hear about unique and danceable music you have discovered! It may end up in a future playlist for Dance Sanctuary! I look forward to hearing from you.

    Welcome to Biznik Nadine.

    Unfortunately, I can't dance. :( I'll leave that up to you! :D
