Subscribe to Introduce your bad indie self Seattle Career Counselor says “hey!”

Hi Everyone ~ My name is Laila Atallah and my business is Career Counseling with a Twist.

I’m looking forward to meeting many of you. I plan to attend my first event on May 14 (How to Network this Biznik Way). I’ll hope you’ll come say “hello.”

I work with career changers and job seekers to get clear on what they want their life to look like, and find work that supports that bigger vision. I specialize in working holistically with those who crave an integration of their life and their work, as opposed to finding a “career box” -- or any other box -- to squeeze into.

People come to me for help with: self-discovery, career assessment, researching options, “transition jobs,” resumes, interviews, overcoming obstacles, self-esteem... the works!

I also work with mothers and entrepreneurs on life design and balance, time management, boundary-setting and generally creating an awesome life when you’re pulled in many directions.

I’m zealous about helping people combine passion and practicality. To me, one without the other is like a movie without popcorn.

If you know anyone who is looking for a job, my Tully’s Job Search Series is starting on May 12 in Wallingford. And, it’s free! More info here: http://www.careercounselingwithatwist.com/events.html

Welcome Laila, As an almost professional "geek" :) , I could not pass the opportunity to take a quick look at your website. I must say very well presented. The layout, content, color scheme....each component is a perfect fit and a perfect fit with what you do. Looks great. Much luck to you on Biznik.

Gloria: thanks a ton for the positive feedback! My website was a loooooooong time in coming and I think I may have stretch marks to show for it. P.S. I envy and aspire to your geekdom.

Karen: Thanks for the welcome. I feel like I've just begun to scratch the service here at Biznik. It feels a bit like a treasure hunt as different possibilities become unearthed.

Hi Laila, I think I met you at a mastermind a couple weeks ago. (Well, met from across the room.) I saw this post and thought, "She's not new!" Heck, I'm newer than you are! But welcome! Good to have you in the community.
