hi all

I'm originally from Zurich Switzerland - and got stuck for 10 years working in Los Angeles for Entertainment companies, advertising and fashion design companies...

My husband and Design partner Mike Reed is from from the North West - so we both love Seattle and would like to move back "home".

We are both interested in any freelance graphic design and illustration work - portfolio at www.selmi.net

I just found several Swiss people here on biznik... seems like the Swiss love Seattle!

    Right now I mainly do t-shirt design, but that's mainly due to the lack of work in that field. Always looking to branch out, however.

    Is all of your work hand-drawn, or do you use some collage or digital techniques?

    Hi Rob - it is actually a mix mostly - hand-drawn combined with digital.

    How is life in Maryland? Since I moved to LA from Europe I never had the time to travel the country....

    and I'm always curious...is there a lot of illustration work there? How are the people? is it easy to connect?

    There can be a great deal of work and then it seemingly gets quiet. Meaning I have to get creative with finding work. However, networking is fairly easy, there seems to be a great deal of artists around the general area. And all have been very nice.
