I am in the process of planning/starting a monthly networking event for all of our Supporting Members.

In my hunt for a new venue, cool music, great apps and flowing drinks, it occurred to me that I should also add a "door prize", if you will, to the first 25-50 Bizniks to arrive for the fun.

Wow! What a great way to say thanks while, more importantly, help Bizniks show their stuff, get their company and name out there, and bring in more business.

I am now looking feverishly for some "gifts".

Who out there is interested in getting some business for their business? Denise at Urbanabox is donating all of the wrapping and beautifying so all you need to do it throw your ideas, and products into the ring...

Any takers?

I'll bite! Depending on the 'when' I may be able to donate product in smaller sample-type sizes!

If you do door prizes where we donate just 1 or 2 things to the drawing, I am in for interior products on that.

Sounds like a fun event! If you want help putting it together at all, hit me up. I love this kind of stuff!

I can also help it be the greenest event it can be :)

What kind of interior products are we talking here?

    :)

Well for example, the last door prize I gave was 2 silk lanterns that I found, never used, from a second hand store!

I have a set of pottery barn curtain tie backs, also never used, found second hand, waiting for a new home :)

I find great deals like this all the time. If people don't like their door prize, they can trade it with someone else's door prize or give it to a friend who might like it better :)

oh - yes, I see. Well I will keep it in mind. For now I was hoping more for a packaged treat but thank you so much for your offer and idea Amy.

Yes, I understand. If I can think of 25-50 packaged treats that won't break my bank, I'm in! haha.

Sure, there are all sorts of things that could qualify -but I don't want to just add to people's stuff - I want it to be useful and meaningful :)
