Subscribe to Promotions & special offers Flooring in Kitsap County?

I'm planning to have my kitchen floor replaced and wonder if there are any recommendations for who to go to in Kitsap County. I live in Bremerton.

What kind of flooring will you be using?

I don't know yet. I originally wanted tile, but our kitchen is pretty big and doesn't have enough central support underneath (walk out basement below) to handle that much additional weight...so we need to stick to something much lighter. Right now it has three layers of icky linoleum that need to be ripped out. Thinking a laminate in a warm color, as my walls are "roasted red pepper" and I have a Tabasco theme.

wouldn't you prefer hardwood? for beauty and durability i hear it's awesome!

The rest of my house is hardwood. ;-)

It is beautiful, but I'd like something different for the kitchen.

Adam Pyszkiewicz of Old European Floors restored our 40-year-old oak floor. He works hard and delivers great results. He cares so much about the floor that we've been a little terrified he will drop by someday and see how tough we are on it. But, it's holding up.

I see you are disinterested in hardwood for the kitchen, but Adam works in other media. Might be worth an inquiry.
