There are very few contractors on Biznik that do things like painting, home repairs, construction, etc. I'd sure like to have more, because requests like yours come up fairly regularly. Perhaps it's because this group started out being populated mainly by creative types in Seattle, who tend to know other creative types, and it hasn't branched out much from that core group yet. So yes, if any of you know independent contractors who do this type of work, please invite them to join us.

Interior House Painters for Seattle and the Eastside?
I can't believe it, but I don't see any house painter members in the Seattle area. Does anyone have recommendations for super-professional, detail-oriented, reasonably-priced interior painters? Please send them my way. And please invite them to join Biznik!

Okay, slightly exaggerated, but I think the whole technology thing holds back contractors from being a part of things like biznik.
Anyway I'm soon painting as well, deciding between DIY and hiring Nelson Painting. He's a great guy, small crew, and uses non-VOC paint.

Our next door neighbors (and friends and fellow Bizniks, Christopher & Jill Braxtan) rent out a basement apartment to a guy who's an indie house painter and he's painting their house.
