Let me just say that this method of advertising really works! Even the smallest professional looking graphic on a vehicle attracts attention over those crappy door magnets and do-it-yourself sticker jobs. I used to get clients and people tell me all the time, "I saw that car with those wild graphics on the highway!".

Anyways Patrick, I dropped you a message as I am in need of some vinyl work. Thanks.

I am trying to help a young friend who just made Bassmaster's Elite. Soon he will be going to companies asking for sponsorship in exchange for advertising. As he drives across country for the series in 2008 he expects to drive over 30,000 miles just for tourny travel. He will be driving a 40 foot RV and pulling a double trailer with his boat and Chevy tundra. What I cannot help him with is what this type of advertising is worth. I would like for him to be able to have an idea of the value before he enters negotiations. How is this value calculated?

Patrick... BTW, my company has financed cars and trucks with graphics and included the cost of the graphics in the lease. If you ever have customer's that want the advertising benefit that you offer but they do not have the vehicle or money, I can help you out there. We can do a package deal. ....Howard

What do people think of Vehicle Graphics effectiveness for B2B vs B2C?

One of our newer members, Justin Sailor, did a cross country road trip (http://www.homeinvasiontour.com) and was fully sponsored by Jeep with a vehicle - and did a wrap on the whole thing. Check out the website for the outcome. Looks great and got him TONS of notice.

Yes, Jeep recognized the value of the advertising. He went thru all kinds of terrain, documented the handling, etc. and it was all available on his daily blog.

Almost all of my fleet vehicle customers use graphics on their cars, trucks, and vans. Make sure that you have an easy to remember website in big enough print along with your phone number and you will be surprised at the results from your traveling billboard.

Kevin, I just recently wrapped my company car with my logo and info. I was suprised at the response it generated. In less than one week I had 5 calls, 2 of which contracted for my service.

Yep, every time I pass by a green Zeek's Beetle (wrapped vehicle), I start to get hungry and the company is in my mind for an hour afterwards.

Does a car have to be in perfect condition to be wrapped? Can it have any body damage?

I just wonder ...with the advertising work rising through vehicle graphics...there will be a day in 2050 when we would not be able to see a plan car without anything on it!!!!!!!! Vehicle Graphics would be a booming industry in coming years.

I think that is a great way to promote your biz, but you must also have a good product people need and hype to get customers to be hooked at a seconds glance of looking at the vehicle ads.

I have a Kia Sorento that I would like to wrap. Having a hard time finding a shop to do it. I'm told it's a template issue. Any advice?
