Well, before taking up the aggressive legal action LOL, you can always follow up by calling them or paying them a visit. Also, there might be factoring services which you can employ and sometimes, the cost of hiring a factoring company is much cheaper compared to legal fees.

Key Point In Contacts With Your Clients/Customers
Always have it in writing that if your clients/customers don't pay you and you have to take action, that they will have to pay, attorney fees, court costs, and collection fees.

Posted by Renee Cloud, Birmingham, Alabama | Feb 06, 2009I agree & it's good to have some of these things listed into your contract or work agreement between you & your client upfront. Also I agree with wayne's statement & that you don't want to dive off into the legal steps too fast.
A person could take some small steps first such as emailing the client, calling or postal mail a few times. Then if that doesn't work you can pursue other legal options at your discretion.

Posted by Iris Salmins, Atlanta and Houston, TX, Georgia | Feb 09, 2009Only a small percentage of debts placed with us for collection need to go to court, but when they do, the court will honor the clause in the contract that states that collection fees, attorney fees, and court costs must be paid by the debtor.
