Subscribe to The Biznik Community Been a Biznik for awhile but never submitted an intro...

Hi Everyone! I'm Harmony Coburn, founder of Coburn Enterprises (a small web design and search engine marketing company that loves working with Truly Small Businesses).

I joined Biznik in 2010 but have only recently started participating in a more active way ... and I am so happy I have!

For years I have envisioned being able to attend networking events where I didn't meet 20 cosmetic MLM reps, 55 Real Estate and Insurance agents and no other truly small business owners - or as so fondly titled here "solopreneurs". I'm not saying that MLMs, Real Estate Agents and Insurance Agents don't work their butts off - but I can only choose one and I network to meet a larger variety of business people that know what it's like to be the one that wears all of the company hats.

Here at Biznik I have already met some incredible people! The article Occupy Biznik (great article Rags) allowed me to interact with some super intellegent people that I don't always agree with but have great respect for. I strongly recommend participating in these online conversations if you have interest!

Looking forward to meeting more of you in the near future.

    First, let me say I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your comments and enjoyed your positivity from my my little butler's cubbyhole. You are why I LOVE Biznik!

    It's such a great comfort to me (as a serial business starter-upper) to find fellowship and friendship with others who are trying to make their dreams and the dreams of others happen through this CRAZY, artistic, expression of individualism we call being an entrepreneur.

    Or, as Lara stated the other day (and I paraphrase) we are all alone in this, together". Thanks for the xo and back at you! Can't wait to meet an an event.

    It's been great to see you around the site commenting on and publishing articles.

    I have always worked for indie biz owners, myself.

    Having been exposed to so much entrepreneurism as the community manager at Biznik, I fear that I may have caught the bug ;)

    Hey all - thanks for the hellos!

    Pete, thanks for the confirmation that Biznik is a great place to be. I have already been enjoying your writings :-).

    Rags you are a rock star! Occupy Biznik was a brilliant post. It really got a lot of us talking and exposed me to how many intelligent people are a part of this group! You have a wonderful ability to see the humor in it all while still being concious of the serious issues we are all up against.

    Matt- you are a perfect community manager. You help make it all happen - thank you so much for all you do!
