Hi, My web site, beadsbymail.com, needs a blog! I got one started in wordpress but i dont know how to publicize it. I am happy to trade beautiful Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry, vintage jewelry, or my own jewelry designs for your help in getting my blog out there, & also getting backlinks.

    I dont know how to get traffic to it. Or even if that is the best place to save it.

    Also dont particularly like the headline. I suppose the text should be smaller but i dont think wordpress gave me the option.

    Not only could you make the text smaller, but there are tons of free themes out there that could make your blog the thing of beauty the text deserves. Let me dig a little and I'll find you what I mean. I would also suggest not adding the "Beads By Mail Presents" as the Headline, instead, use it as the tag line, "brought to you by Beads By Mail" or something.

    Have you upgraded to Wordpress 2.7 yet? If not, do immediately as there are tons of new features that will help you tremendously.

    Do you have your blog listed with Feedburner? Blogworld? Technorati and Digg?

    What you have right now is an oyster. We need to harvest the pearl.

    Hi, I really like your comments, esp. the oyster metaphor. I dont know how to list with feedburner etc. I agree that the headline needs work. Can we communicate via plain email? I dont like this biznik interface.

    I dont remember even how to run wordpress altho i have all the files. I have 2.6. If i get 2.7 will i have to repeat the whole install process? Its sure a lot of work. They claim its easy but if i didnt know as much about editing, HTML, etc. i would be lost!
