Here comes 425 Bride, the wedding edition of 425 Magazine!

Do you know of a fabulous, outstanding wedding-related business located on the Eastside? Are you part of a thriving wedding business, located on the Eastside and ready to tell the world?

425 Magazine, the Eastside lifestyle magazine, is seeking recommendations for wedding-related goods, services, venues, businesses, people and personalities for its upcoming 2009 bridal edition. We're looking for everything. Businesses, products or services with a connection to the 425 area or greater Seattle area are preferred. Personalities are a plus.

Who is in the 425 area? We cover people, businesses and homes within the 425 telephone area code. In short, if the phone number of the person, business or home starts with 425, we're interested.

Why? Your business, your recommendation or your quote might appear in 425 Magazine (or its sister Website), a full-color publication mailed to thousands of homes and newsstands statewide. Translation: Publicity!

Please send your recommendations, suggestions, news releases, ideas, tips and questions to jlzappala@gmail.com before Sept. 1. Web site links are also welcome.

If you have any questions, please drop me an e-mail.

    Hey Jenny,

Not sure if our site would qualify, but I work for QuoteTotal, which is a site that allows members to submit work requests (including wedding services) and the site will locate local provider and request for them to submit a quote.

You can see it at quotetotal.com

Apparently I missed the deadline of September 1st. I am the owner of Define Fitness Studio in Bellevue. We are a low cost personal training studio. We train a lot of brides getting ready for their wedding day and fitting into their dress. If you think anything related to our personal training and fitness services would be fitting for any of your future issues let me know. I don't know if this would be newsworthy enough for your magazine, but we are an up and coming business in Bellevue, and we are coming upon our 1 year anniversary on November 1st. We will be having an event open to the public around that time to celebrate and give people a taste of what we do. If that is something that 425 would be interested in, let me know and we can discuss things in greater detail.

Thanks. I appreciate the heads up. Probably your best bet would be to send a press release to editor@425magazine.com. The magazine has a new blog now for happening news, like say an upcoming, one year business anniversary. Hope that helps. grin

darn that i missed the deadline too! I was on vacation.

My services are great for couples merging their spaces and possessions or looking for a new style in their new love nests as they join homes. Pre or post wedding, depending on the couple!

I am a caterer and we are in the process of building out a shared use commercial kitchen where many chefs will be based out of. We'll also have a catering venue that will seat about 130 people. We'll have several pastry chefs on board who do wedding cakes as well.

I'll definitely check out your website/magazine

Hi Jenny, We have a unique wedding book: "The Secret to a Fabulous Wedding" and I say it's unique as it deals more with the inner journey of the bride through the wedding planning, wedding, honeymoon and beyond, not just the outer planning. Helping brides with stress, emotions, overwhelm, jitters, fears and the bridezilla, it's really a must read for brides and great as a gift. http://www.thesecrettoafabulouswedding.com

    Hi Jenny,

For a good long term relationship, you might want to join ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants). Lots of consultants and vendors and we meet monthly. Seattle Met is a member.

    Best, Jack

Wedding related good, i think you can get it online!! By the way, have you heard of MiNeeds.com? It really simplifies finding affordable wedding service providers. I used it to find them for my daughter's wedding. Essentially, after I described what I needed on this site, I received several competitive bids from local wedding service providers. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to call around and negotiate with each, and that wedding service providers actually came to me.

I am an Event and Wedding Planner. I design events as well. We also officiate for non-denominational, custom wedding ceremonies. I've started a networking group for South King County Event and Wedding Vendors through Meetup.com and in less than a year we have 170+ members. No MLM's in our group, just event and wedding vendors who would be involved in the pre-event, production, post-event aspects of a personal or business event.
