When I'm in the members section and I click on any of the names on the left my web brouser opens a new window. It never did that before. If I select any of the names with pictures I don't get a new window. Why is that? Art T.

There's some screwy formatting going on in one of my tips: http://biznik.com/learn/tips/organization-time-management/time-management-for-extroverts.
When I see it, the text is all the way across the page, completely cutting off the normal right sidebar.

Hi Rachel, I've fixed the formatting for you, so it's all set now. I'm not sure what was causing it, but some kind of malformed character apparently.

Hi Art, I can't get the problem to reproduce. Can you send me a screenshot of the exact page you're on when this happens, and also what browser you're using, to dan@biznik.com.
Thanks, Dan

This morning when I click the "upgrade now" button (on the blog promo spot) I get taken to Martin Kuper's profile.

In article and tips guidelines:
Tips must be [delete][between] less than 500 words in length. If they are longer, you can submit them as an article.
Cheers!

Hi Leila, I'm trying to reproduce your bug and having trouble figuring exactly where you were when you triggered this. Since you are already a supporting member, how could you see the "upgrade now" button (it's hidden to supporting members, because they are already upgraded...)

Thanks Suzanne - I'm assuming you were referring to the text in the Editorial Guidelines FAQ page. I've updated that and it will be correct the next time we commit the code.

I'm getting an error on this page:
http://biznik.com/events/2008/6/10/for-web-eyes-only-0
(And of course it's an event I signed up for, didn't write down where it was, and it starts in half an hour...)

Hi James, Sorry for the bug - we deployed some code this afternoon that wasn't quite ready for prime time. It's fixed now. Hope you made your event.

How do I uncheck the "check to receive an email when someone posts a reply" box? I've tried to uncheck it but I keep getting emails anyway. Art T.

A feature request.
I wish that we could edit or delete barters.
I'd like to edit mine. I'm not going to post another similar one, and I'm not going to post an addendum. I'll just leave it not working. But that's too bad, because if i could change my offer I could create the barter I'm seeking. If you delete it, please let me know, so I can post a better one.
The topic of barter came up at an event, and one member got 100 responses, and then decided not to barter after all. She might have deleted it at about 25 responses and saved people bother, and biznik traffic.
Fabulous site. Way, way beyond what other networking groups have going on!

Art, you can unsubscribe from a topic using the menu on the left hand sidebar underneath the picture of the topic poster (in this case, Dan). Click the link that says "stop following topic."

Thanks for the quick answer, Rachel. Simply un-checking the box on the bottom would be an obvious solution, and one I think we can deploy pretty easily.

It didn't work until I unchecked it and posted something. Thanks though Art T.

It doesn't work that way yet - but we'll make it work that way in a future version.

Dan, I find the expand the member's photo feature works infrequently. The image gets stuck halfway through or I just get the little "X" box in the center.
Also, once the picture is open, it's difficult to close.

I invited a friend. He joined. I added him to my network. Then he disappeared. His email:
Todd Jennings writes: > That other Network you gave me closed my account. I did not think that I did anything wrong. But they did not like me. I thought it was kind of weird. > >Todd Jennings >Send a free "Thank you" greeting card www.sendoutcards.com/5548

Andrey, Is this one the one you're referring to? I show 56 having attended. Let me know if you're seeing something else.
-

John, The reason your friend disappeared is because we closed his account. We have a strict no-mlm policy that we enforce here.

Dan, check above "Discuss this event." The yellow box on top does show 56 but there is no one listed. [I was trying to reach someone that I met...]
If you see all the attendees, I'll send a screenshot.
Thanks,
-Andrey

Someone invited me to join her network, but her photo/profile can't be clicked on and when I searched for her name, she doesn't exist as a member. (I searched without geographic limits on as well.)
I can email you her name offline if you'd like.
This forum is unmoderated, but please keep discussion courteous and not too far off topic.
