    Dan,

I'd like to be able to flag or bookmark certain biztalk threads. I noticed I can bookmark people and events but not threads--unless I missed something. This would be great for the threads containing lots of good resources that I might want to have handy for my clients. There is a post now that includes resources for moms that I would love to flag for my clients who focus on kids and families. Will you add this bookmark feature for biztalk too?

Thanks. Still exploring and enjoying the new site.

    Karrie

not working for two reasons: couldnt get the video to load - at all or even promptly and with text, i can scan words for answers faster than having to wait thru a video to get the answer.

if you have both options for each question, then you solve problems for both auditory and visual peoples. :)

the video faq is especially problematic for ppl with slower connections and if it wont load at all, then one is left without the answers they are looking for.

    thank you!

Karrie, I think what you're asking for is a "share this" post link, that allows you to send an email about it to a friend. Am I hearing you correctly?

Amy, can you tell me what kind of connection you are on (dialup, dsl, cable modem??) Also, what platform (mac or pc) and what browser and version number you are using... you are the only person who has reported difficulty viewing the movies. Anyone else having this problem?

Dan, on the Events page would it be possible to list upcoming events by date & title in the panel on the left that is currently listing past events? It seems that we are going to be getting a longer and longer list of upcoming events as Biznik gets more popular. It would be so nice to be able to scan JUST THE TITLE & DATE and then of course to have them clickable so it takes you to the event for more information and sign up. Thanks for considering this.

I think it looks great and runs smoothie smooth (though yesterday I was getting a number of server errors when trying to access my inbox, etc) -As mentioned elsewhere, I think referrals should be on main profile page (and can one not access the comments?) -I like the new 'people near you need' feature...perhaps their name or a mouseover could contain info on their occupation? -I think a member search (or more, a dropdown?) box on biznik's main page is essential

    Thanks Dan! -Leif

I haven't been able to view the FAQ movies either. MAC, OSX I think, Firefox, latest version, cable? over wireless. Nothing loads.

Guys, I love the color distinctions in BizTalk so the originating poster's subsequent posts are called out. Cool.

Oh crud. I made two comments in a row, thinking I could go back and edit the first one (adding info) but once I "post comment" on the 2nd comment, there's no longer an Edit button on the first one.

(The added info is that I believe it was just this am that I was attempting to peek at FAQs.)

Just a suggestion but I think it'd be cool if when you clicked on the personal website found on a BizNik profile, if it opened up in a new page. I want to see people's sites but I don't necessarily want to navigate away from BizNik.

I'd like to see a view in the forums which shows all the threads in all categories, sorted by last comment. Its too much work to go to each...the RSS is okay but not as straightforward.

I'm not sure we can search the forums? It is always useful to do before asking a question that has already been answered somewhere.

I also like Kevin's thoughts, I've seen it in action at younggogetter.com/forum (when logged in only unread threads are blue) and it is much easier than trying to remember what you've seen. Sure categories are nice but I'm the type of person who doesn't care about categories, I just want to see what is new everywhere.

I would have requested an 'email me when somebody updates this thread' but when you have a view which only shows recently updated threads you don't need it so much.

Feature request: It'd be nice if we could scroll through the new members in order to see more of them, instead of just the most recent 10.

Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming. I just wanted to confirm that a couple things are still under development and will be rolling out later this summer including a site-wide search, a forum search, and a "bookmark this topic" so you can watch or reference a Biz Talk discussion later.

I'm looking forward to the last one. There was a great discussion on business plans about a year ago, that I still send people to who ask.

I'd really like to see our "Special Offers" be a part of our individual profile again.

I'm not really interested in posting it to a forum where it gets mixed up with everyone else's, especially when there's no search function. It's a poor kluge compared to what we had before...

Come to think of it, it there any way that we can create a space where ALL feature requests and bug reports and be logged and viewed by category, so we don't waste time repeating each-others' previous comments?

I'm not really interested in scrolling through everyone's comments to figure out if a question had already been asked, even if I had the time (which I don't).

    thx!!!

Biznik has a Trac system for logging bugs, but it's not public. But trust me, we log them all, so it's not a problem if you repeat yourself - in fact, I prefer it that way, because then I get an idea of which ones members are most concerned about. And FYI - bug fixes are going to be coming in very slowly because our lead developer is on vacation until late August, but keep them coming in anyway, because I'll fix the ones I can fix.

    Wish list item.

Being able to print out a one-page screen shot of an event, or even a person, would be awesome.

We used to be able to print out that way; John made it so, but then it "broke" somehow ... :-( I hope it comes back.
