Subscribe to Website discussion and bug reports tops of photos cropped

I apologize if this topic has already been addressed. I've noticed that several of our photos are chopped off at the top (mine included). -- not on our profiles, but on the Members page and all other places where a thumbnail image appears. I plan to upload a new photo soon and want to see if there are any tips for me to correct this.

Thanks!

    Hey Debbie,

I tried to find the thread where this was addressed, as I had this issue with my previous picture. I couldn't find the previous thread, but you have to start with as close to a square sized picture as possible, if you don't want the top of the photo chopped off. Crop some of the bottom of your photo off and you're photo will be better centered in the thumbnail version. I think it looks fine as it is, though, as only a small part of the top of your head doesn't show in the thumbnail and some of the photos Julian took of us were already shot that way...tres artzy! ;0)

Hi Nancy, Thanks for the info. Seems to be a common issue with most photos. Your new one is lovely, by the way!

Dani, I had to laugh when I saw your photo ... I've seen lots of chopped off heads here on Biznik's thumbnail photos, but yours was really chopped. I hope you were able to fix it and I look forward to seeing more of you in the future. ;-)
