Dennis- This is the article? Can we get a link up to it? That is always fun! :)
Congrats :)
Austin, TX where they are proud of their diversity and the guy at the book store asks if you would like him to recycle your receipt.
They throw the word "green" around like they discovered it, and take the whole concept of sustainability as seriously as anywhere I know of.
It certainly doesn't feel that different here, they say "Howdy" when they greet you, and they don't seem to care whether you bothered to iron your shirt: I haven't yet and I don't think I will.
A two hour presentation on exercise and fitness yesterday turned into three hours and a good time was had by all...
Today it's diet and nutrition, that'll be fun. And it hasn't bee hard finding good food here either:-)

Oh my, I think this whole thread is so funny. Short and funny.
Okay, Amy, Dennis seems to have been in Austin, TX where there is a very popular saying "Keep Austin Weird" which has everything to do with a thriving movement to keep small, diverse businesses alive in Austin. Seems he was taking an exercise class here.
I am now in Austin! I just hosted http://biznik.com/events/how-to-grow-your-business-using-biznik and it was a huge hit. I love these Austin peeps. They are so into community!
Dennis, next time you are in Austin, hook up with the Austin bizniks down here!
Karrie
I was conducting the class. And I did connect with the one Biznik member I could find there; online at least. I didn't manage to figure out a way to attend/host a Biznik event, but since there is a growing group there I will next time.
It's a very nice place, for being in the middle of the desert.
