I have found Gall Bladder issues to have a direct effect on enforcing decisions. If the Gall Bladder is loaded with toxins one would have a hard time being discerning about making a firm decision. On the other hand an over worked Gall Bladder will have an effect on someone who makes all the decisions and now the are too tired from doing all the work and so they need to rest by making there Large Intestines weak so they don't get out of bed.

With these issues it would be tough to move it along in business.

According to Ayurveda, if we are not balanced we cannot be productive. Since our business model in this country is based on productivity, it is very important to achieve balance in the body, the mind and the spirit. A pitta person (the fire personality who is driven, organized and has follow through) who is imbalanced can become a terrible pain to work with! They will be crabby, short tempered, have inflammatory issues in the body and run a constant state of frustration. The vata person (very creative, life of the party, and movement oriented) who is imbalanced will have trouble following through, concentrating and focusing, and will likely drive co-workers crazy with contant chatter. The kapha worker (steady, grounded, loving and loyal) will be unmotivated and even lazy when out of balance. This person will struggle with mucous issues and weight gain that is hard to lose...further compounding tendencies toward inactivity. Each body type, or dosha, needs to know how to eat, exercise and care for their own unique constitution. Pitta folks should avoid coffee and alcohol, vata people need grounding foods (warm and cooked) and a stable daily routine, and kapha workers should avoid dairy, too many grains, sugar, and get plenty of exercise.

It is important to know who you are and know what you do.

Eating the right foods that complement your system will lead to better long term balance.

Just like in the work force...it is best to know where your best strengths are and hire other folks where your skills are weak.

As entrepreneurs we struggle to do everything in our business. This is like eating a food that doesn't agree with you...but forcing it in cause you think you have to.

    From a Naturopathic perspective:

Based on what I see in my practice, the majority of people experience extreme fatigue after a long period of stress. This directly applies to all of us on Biznik since owning and operating a business is one of the most stressful (and also rewarding) things we can undertake. So absolutely, our health affects our business!

It boils down to energy, productivity, and motivation, all of which are driven by a multitude of complex neurochemical reactions made up of what we eat, think, and do.

If digestion is not functioning optimally you probably are not breaking down and absorbing food very well. This can lead to amino acid deficiencies which creates an imbalance of the chemicals in the brain that affect our performance. Guess what hinders our digestive vitality? Stress!

So its a catch 22 situation! What to do about it? Take measures to help your body deal with stress when you can't change the circumstances. This includes certain herbs and vitamins that help your adrenal glands adapt to stress. Equally as important is enhancing digestion. This can be as simple as a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in water before meals, and many other ways.

Bottom line; if you don't feel well or have boundless energy, especially after a period of stress there are a lot of ways you can improve your energy and even focus with targeted natural therapies.

Recently it has been pointed out to me by a Chinese doctor that my Kidneys were very low in energy (she said coffee is a "cooler" of the fire in the kidneys). The Kidneys are like battery packs for the body, if they are weak your power to create will be low.

So with asking for abundance and more business...the universe will not provide these opportunities if you cannot handle it.

So the strength of some of your organs does affect the strength of your business.
