    Hi Power Chicks,

I am Nancy Juetten. My company is committed to helping business owners use the power of free publicity to get seen, heard, and celebrated.

One of the reasons this group appeals to me is that the isolation of working from a home office can be very challenging for me. Connecting with other like-minded business women in an authentic, personal way would add a lot of value to my life and business. Learning from others to help my business grow in new ways would be a plus.

Looking forward to getting to you know all.

    Lynn,

What a great job you have done organizing this group! And look at all the women entrepeneurs you have attracted.

I was especially interested in your discussion, What if I don't live in the Seattle area?" Couldn't find it. (Must not be looking in the right place.)

Anyway, I co-own Cat's Eye Marketing, a copywriting, graphic design and marketing support firm. We are celebrating our 16th birthday next month.

I won't be able to make it to all the events but I look forward to being a part of this stellar group.

    Hello Everyone,

I'm looking forward to being a part of this group, though as a single mother I may not be able to make most of the face to face events.

I am a virtual assistant and bookkeeper and have been for the last 3 years (this June). I love a challenge and helping others find solutions to things they think are impossible. Until recently I have worked exclusively with a larger VA firm and though I liked the people, I felt it was time to break away and follow my dreams.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and helping where I can.

    Hello ladies,

I have been a Web Developer since 1996, some for profit, some not. I took the last several years off to focus on my family life and am looking to get back into the business groove. It's time for me to open the next chapter of my life!

I am looking forward to attending a Power Chick event so I can get to know some of you face-to-face. I'm hoping to expand my skills and perhaps move away from my previous career. This group seems like a great opportunity to network with a wide range of business interests.

Good day to everyone, Catherine Darklock

It looks like I'm the only non-Seattle area chick, but I do get up there regularly. What a fascinating group of women! It's great to read about you all.

I'm a business and financial coach, right now specializing in helping small businesses coordinate their social media to be a cohesive and effective whole. I want women to take over the new economy, which I see based on relationship and trust, rather than the bottom line.

I love working with people to help them break out of their limiting thinking and give them the skills to have their finances be in alignment with their goals and their goals be in alignment with their values.

I look forward to chatting with you on line and in person!

    Hi everyone!

I am Lori Richardson, also known as the "Sales Detective" - I help small biz owners and larger companies with their sales effectiveness. I am like the "CSI Miami" of revenue generation - go in and see where sales issues are, then help to resolve them for sales gains. I love what I do and started this in the fall of 2001.

Additionally, I help non-profits as well, bringing "for profit" ideas to help them grow, and for the past five years have been a fundraising auctioneer.

It's wonderful to meet such a great group of women!

Posted by Sharon Moore, Seattle, Washington | Apr 13, 2009

Hello all, My name is Sharon Moore and I teach and perform tribal bellydance in Seattle and around the US and Canada. In addition to the obvious strengthening of the body through dance, I feel there are a lot of additional side benefits and "jobs" tied to my work--that of empowering women, increasing their confidence, and giving them a joyful community which supports them. It really blows my mind sometimes that I am so blessed to get to do the work I do!

Not to sound spammy, but your first class is always free if this sounds like something fun or interesting to ya. It's just a lot of fun and a great way to shake things up (especially for those of us who sit at a desk all the rest of the day!) http://www.seattletribal.com for more info.

I also design web sites and dabble in graphic design on the side. I specialize in artists and performers, but regardless of the business, my goal is to create clean, impactful, easily navigable, yet still affordable websites. I did my own website and performance group website ( http://www.infusiontribal.com ) as well as many others for dancers, burlesque performers, and yoga teachers.

Hi Ladies! I'm a Decorator. Redecorator. Undecoraor (as in home-staging), event Decorator. Transforming spaces on a nickel. Well, okay, a dime anyway! I specialize in low-cost decorating that looks like a million bucks. You know all those shows on HGTV? I'm there. I believe everyone deserves to work/live/play/party in the spaces of their dreams, and what wakes me up in the morning is the ideas that generate in my head that I know will make someone happy just to enter a room that has been 'reborn'. Sometimes that may be just a paint color - other times it may be Aunt Edith's dresser with new funky drawer pulls. It could also be the way the furniture is arranged or the way treasured pictures are hung. But it all should reflect who you are - not who your decorator is. Collaboration is key with me - although I have been hired to do 'surprise makeovers' ! So much fun. I love what I do!

I work for OvalEye Web Solutions- a website hosting, design, and development firm that is owned by my mother- a true power chick. Together we work for and with women every day helping them find the right solution for growing their business whether it be personalized hosting services, pairing them up with one of our top of the line designers, or chatting with them about what RT and @ means on Twitter. We love that most of our clients and subcontractors are women!

Thanks Lynn for being such an active group leader- I got the Power Check Biznik message last week and thought that was so cool!

    Hello Power Chicks!

I'm a Voice Dialogue facilitator. (No, that's not singing lessons...) Voice Dialogue helps you become aware of all your different inner selves and how they either help or interfere with your business and your life. Using Voice Dialogue you can develop a much better internal balance that allows you to get the best out of all of your selves, even the ones you think are a problem like your procrastinator or the part of you that "wastes time" with distractions.

My business partner, Cassandra Cosme De Pree, and I offer a free Biznik event every month at Mosaic called "Who's Running Your Business?" Come join us for the next one on Thursday, May 14, for some great insights on which parts of your personality are helping or hindering your business... and which ones have just plain gone missing.

We also have a wonderful weekend for women coming up June 13-14 - "Reclaiming Our Sensuous Nature." If we women are going to survive and thrive in our businesses, our relationships, our multi-task lives during challenging times, we need to have all our energy and internal resources available to us. We need our full feminine sensuous aliveness. This weekend will help you decrease stress and increase your aliveness quotient - bring more life to every aspect of what you do and who you are. It will also give you ways to hold clear effective boundaries without shutting down. You can register on our website (http://www.thevoicedialogueinstitute.org) and we'll offer all Biznik Power Chicks $20 off the $175 price. Let the power of the Deep Feminine put wind under your wings - you can reenergize your whole being, your outer and your inner life.
