Posted by Bonnie Pond, Fayetteville, Tennessee | May 27, 2010

    Hello to all!

I'm so glad to have found this group. What an amazing gathering of powerful women running their own businesses. I'm excited to know there are plenty of other women out there who are following their own paths and doing what they love to do.

My name is Bonnie Pond and I'm a career change expert and licensed Profiting From Your Passions coach. My business is called ReLaunch Your Life. I believe we should all be doing what we love, what we're passionate about. I work with women over 40 who are unhappy, stuck, stressed out, or just plain bored silly with their jobs and want to go from employee to self-employed. I help my clients find ways to love their work, love their money, and love their lives. My website is http://www.therelaunchyourlifecoach.com.

Besides working with individual clients and small Success groups, I do workshops for school districts and companies that have to lay off large numbers of employees. Although I don't have that "magic bullet" that says you'll have a great new career overnight, my specialty is helping people discover all their options and create an action plan for moving forward.

I live in southern middle Tennessee, just north of Huntsville, Alabama and would love to connect with others in this area. Do any of you live in the vicinity?

    Hi PCs,

My first time on Biznik and what an awesome group!

I am a fine art landscape painter (since 1981) serving collectors and galleries during that time. Also teach plein-air or outdoor painting workshops on location in the U.S. and Europe; lecture and jury art shows. Was the founding editor of Plein Air Magazine (now titled, Fine Art Connoisseur.)

Love assisting folks with questions they have about collecting, and counseling parents/young people about careers in art.

Happy to be here and looking forward to interfacing with you!

    Hello ladies

I just joined this group and am already happy to see that I'm really going to enjoy it! I'm just starting my business as a life and business coach, and although I live in France, I like calling myself a global coach. I'm already coaching in the US, in Switzerland and in Luxembourg. This is a great way to extend a helping hand to a lot of people in different countries. This is also a neat way to meet people via internet and have beautiful human encounters.

Greetings Power Chicks, I loved the name and had to see what the group was about. I have been reading the posts for awhile and attended Lynn's Biznik event yesterday which was awesome and was inspired to jump in.

I started as a LunaChick 5 years ago when my husband and I formed a team called Mr Science and the LunaChicks for the 3 Day walk for breast cancer and since then, I have formed a company called Luna's Landing to create fun products to make people feel good when they are dealing with cancer. I also want to build awareness for the amazing nonprofits who help those in the cancer journey.

We donate 10% of our sales to our nonprofit partners and I am thrilled to have this resource of amazing women to learn from as I transition into this new endeavor. The articles are so helpful and learning and sharing is what I believe business is all about. Go Chicks!

I would love feedback from anyone interested in checking out our site. http://www.lunaslanding.net

Thanks for taking a moment to read my introduction. I hope to meet more of you at events in the future.

Posted by Sally Dagna, Bothell, Washington | Jun 30, 2010

Thank you, Lynn! What a great group you have created! It's amazing to read the variety of professions and interests that abound here.

I am Sally Dagna and our company, Full Potential Accounting, is located up on the north side in the Bothell / Mill Creek / Lynnwood area.

Our focus is the largely under-served niche of providing affordable bookkeeping, payroll and tax services to the owners of small to medium size businesses.

Many of our clients come to us because we aren't a "one size fits all" accounting firm. Instead, we listen to what the client's needs are, offer a logical and fair monthly flat-rate, an automatic payment discount, and the flexibility to make changes as needs change and business grows. That means never being locked into any long-term contracts!

Thank you again so very much, Lynn. I look forward to participating in the group and getting to meet some of these awesome women!

This month, Baubo's Garden and students from the apparel design and merchandising programs, installed a bra-art project, Beauty in the Bra, into windows of 15 retail merchants, to recognize women who have battled or are currently battling cancer. I am very proud of this project. It is bringing a lot of awareness to breast cancer and I love collaborations. Can't wait to do this again next year as well as create more projects/campaigns, to further the empowerment of women!
