The Proposal Writing Workshop is a three-week online workshop about the writing process, focused on writing a proposal or bid.

In the workshop, you will learn:

• Organizing a proposal
• Identifying and conducting necessary research
• Collaborators, consultants & employees
• Obtaining support letters
• Budgeting

The workshop goal is to complete a proposal. Give and receive feedback about ideas, structure, editing, formatting and other critical aspects of a good proposal. As you work, you will have opportunities to discuss the details--and writing in general--with your co-participants, the course leader, and Guest Experts.

Bring your own project: a book or thesis proposal, a job application, project bid or other application-based writing project—or ask for an “assignment.”
