Makes sense to me. Also, we as business owners meet many people, what better way is there to share message of Christ than through our actions. Love, honor, commitment, to name a few.

I am a bold witness for my God. Here is a great way to "love" our fellow business folks. Tonite I called a business contact and found him depressed and anxious. His little dog Betty has been ill for eleven days. He has been caring for her day and night, and has had no real help from the two Vet's that saw Betty. I gathered my family, placed him on the speaker, asked him to place the phone by Betty, and we prayed our hearts out for his dog. Mind you, I have an eight year old, eleven year old, and a fourteen year old in the prayer mix. That man's heart was tenderized before our God. I care about people deeply, as Christ has called us to love. This man can't even run his business at the moment. I don't even know what his "beliefs" are. But I know he was thrilled to have us pray for Betty. (Hope you will too!) Prayer in the workplace is our responsibility. Open faith is another. Jesus said if we speak His name to others, He will speak ours to His Father. My prayer for each of you...

Be bold Be strong Be faithful... and may I add, be loved!

Blessings in Christ, my one and only Saviour! Cheryl

Awesome testimony of God's grace and the power of "healing" prayers!

I asked that we pray for "Betty the dog". Her owner was so depressed over her bad health. Betty had went to the Vet for the third time and they had decided that a $3,000 or so, surgery was the answer. The owner does not have that kind of money. He was getting ready to call to ask the Vet to put Betty down, when the office called me. They reported that at the last minute Betty had a miraculous recovery! Praise God, and His healing Son! Just to let you know, this is a business client. What was profitable to him in his time of need? Prayer or money? I say prayer!

I think that being in business affords us with the blessing of having to depend on God to move forward every day. Look forward to hearing more on this topic of promises.

    Dear Members,

Thanks for your comments. The main category of the Bible promises for Business and Businessmen are below concepts: Honor, Service, Principles, Leadership, Globalization Collaboration, Establishment, Decision, Credibility, Punctuality, Time management, Hard work, business continuity etc.,commitment

For example what Bible teaches related to Honesty, Leadership, Globalization and association?

Honor: refer Rom 12:6-8 Acts 4:8-12,15:12-21 Phil 2:19-12

Leadership- Jesus is a great boss and leadership with 12 management team; He is a servant approach integrated manner refer John 15:20

Globalization: Go to all over nation and teach them (Get three out of they country, and from thy kindred.) Gen 12:1 pro 19:21 Gen 11&12 Gen 12:1-3 Isaiah 55:8-9

    Collaboration: Psalm 1:3 Gen 13:11 Matthew 26:14-16

So we will get clear meaning of each above concepts from biblical message. We will concentrate all things through whole Bible chapters and pick it and fill it correct things. Hope we will find out cause and solution even for recession.

Please share your things and thoughts what new concept is there for business promises .

George, you took quite a bit of time to write this awesome question. I have been so busy that I have just taken the time to read your note. I've read every scripture that you have provided to hold up to the light, and your definitions. I am a bit surprised by your choice of Matthew 26:14-16 Judas collaboration with the priests to capture Jeus. All of your other scriptures are positive and uplifting...but this one is a negative. I might add to your point, collaboration is great when you are in the counsel of other saints. But, if you find yourself in the counsel of those who follow the enemey of Heaven (that Great Serpent) then you had best take another look at Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man who walks NOT in the counsel of the ungodly....

Great job on helping us to think about matching our Christian values to the business terms now in use. Even in India:)

Great conversations here! I am so blessed to have found this group -- thank you, Jesus!

My husband and I live and work together, which in itself opens new challenges for us everyday. The work is often high-stress on several levels, and since we now work from home, we're "always at work". We do accounting and taxes both, so come under some pretty intense deadlines which means working insane hours at times.

Moving the office back to our home has proven to be both a huge blessing that we can recognize daily and appreciate, AND a real challenge. While it will be awesome this winter to be able to look out at snow and ice piled up on the street and be thankful that I don't have to go scrape it off the car and pray that I can make it up the street safely, at the same time we are never ever away from work and its stresses.

We begin each morning now down in our office praying and uplifting one another to the Lord, and asking His blessing and guidance as we begin a new work day. As we hear about our clients' woes, we lift them in prayer. We have both Christian and non among our clients, and we know that the Lord brings each into our lives for His purpose.

Will we make a difference in our non-Christian friends and clients' lives? I hope so. I pray so. But, do we make a difference (and hear about it!) in our Christian clients' lives? Ohhhhh YES! So, I can't help but believe that just by having us here to know and pray for our non-Christians, and to quietly let them know we are lifting them in prayer when they share their needs with us, God is using us for His purpose in their lives.

    Dear Sally,

Welcome.Thank you for joining our Christian Networking and Support Group.Yes I appreciated your message on prayer for our non-Christians. If we enable wisdom related to business for our non-Christian friends it is a tool to realize themselves "difference". May God richly bless you and your loved ones with safety, joy, and peace! And of course, good business clients.
