A great venue for events in Edmonds/Lynnwood is.... well, I have been using the conference room at the Lynnwood Library for some of my seminars... but they don't do latte.

Hmm...did I just get volunteered to do a seminar? (30 min?) It SAYS April 30th, and even if its MAY 30th, no can do. (Moving, mostly self-move and occupancy is 1 June. Can we pencil me in for next month or something? Would that be June 27th since the next Saturday is July 4th?) Lets talk.

No...Ha, ha....you didn't volunteer. We HAD an event April 30th and I started this thread before that meeting. Now a couple of us are trying to set up monthly on-going meetings, but we haven't set dates yet. I sent out message today to everyone in the group to stir some interest and think your message here is in response. In any case, we'll keep you posted and definately "pencil" you in! Y'Know, one of the things I kicked around in San Diego was a small "Community Board" that I made and posted in local businesses where people could tack up business cards or business-card sized notes about events. I'd stick it up in a window where the outside is the establishment's logo (and a discreet plug for the maker of the board) and the inside the "Community Board."
Do you think anyone would be interested in something like that?
Sounds pretty neat to me... kind of a "hard-copy" biznik event page for the community...like back in the day!
