Subscribe to Entrepreneurial Junkies - Discussion entrepreneur event

Hey, Everyone! Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a serial entrepreneur, have launched a number of companies, and now also teach others to launch their own startup or take it to the next level. It's a good time to launch a company!

I also run The Seattle Entrepreneur Meetup Group. Come join us (it's free): http://meetup.com/entrepreneurs Note: We have an event coming up on July 15th.

Looking forward to the various upcoming events here with this group. Thanks!

What's a good way to meet an experienced business partner? I am a small business owner looking to expand. As president of Insight Tutoring, I have taught SAT, GRE and SSAT classes and helped thousands of 8th through 12th graders improve their basic math and English skills. I have recently developed a platform for taking my product to the internet and building a revolutionary way to learn online. My expertise is on the academic/educational side. I need someone with skills at the nuts and bolts of running a large company, managing finance and cash flow, etc. What is a good way to go about finding such a partner to take the new company forward. San Francisco area.

Hi, David. Insight Tutoring? Funny, I had a record company called Insight Records. Well, I could coach you over the phone, off and on, to guide you forward ($50/hr). We could create a monthly arrangement that could include phone calls and emailing.

Otherwise, I'd suggest you network with as many entrepreneurs as you can. Is there a San Francisco Entrepreneur Meetup? (meetup.com). If so, I'd start there.

Good luck! It certainly sounds like a worthy project!

    Peter
