Subscribe to Groups Group - Discussion Group Event Postings

I would like to suggest that group event hosts have the ability to post an image for the event thumbnail as opposed to the default thumbnail of the host.

To keep my group actively involved, I want to schedule numerous events but I really don't like "my ugly mug" being pasted all over the events page. I wish that I could choose a topic related image to attach to the event and my host designation would just be the text link.

I want my group to be more about the topics of interest than "me-me-me".

Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

Interesting idea, Howard. It could become a way to start branding a certain type of event, like your Bizchatz.

I wonder if not posting an image of a person's face might make it seem less personal. Can't think of any other reason not to allow this. I wonder what Dan and the gang will say...

Karrie... I think part of the idea of a group is that it revolves around a topic or special interest and that the group administrator should be in the background facilitating.

Our personal profile pages is where we put it out about ourselves. We get enough "face time" by the mere fact that our group administrator title is at the top of the group page. ...Howard

I like this idea too, Howard. I've wanted to post other pictures more reflective of our events (such as tulips for the tulip tiptoe).

    I support this possible implementation.
