No one has ever accused me of being humble and most people don't think I have any use for the opinions of anyone but my own particularly when it comes to business. The truth is that I place a high value on collaboration when it comes to business. I'm not a believer in consensus decision making and I think most of the input I receive in "group thinks" is useless. Did I mention that I'm opinionated? That being said, I have never attended a Mastermind Event when I didn't come away with a real gem of an idea.
I am a devoted peer to peer business review enthusiast. Everyone serious in making their business a success should be part of a Mastermind. Consistent participation with business savvy guidance, feedback and accountability give the entrepreneur the benefit of working for a large organization without having a boss.

I am always looking for new effective methods to market ideas. My challenge is often believability.
If you tell a hiring manager there is a technique whereby any new sales rep can eliminate rejection in the sales environment, they say "It's impossible." This new technique will only be a play on words, or other gimmick.
Their rational is if you ask a prospect to buy the only possible responses are either "yes" or "no." That means rejection is inevitable.
However, not all "no's " are created equal. Only CERTAIN "no's" generate rejection and there is a way to avoid it. How do you market this?
Joining a group like this may open a marketing door.

Joined because the group name intrigued me. How's that for honesty? Not sure if I'm a mastermind, but I'm sure that I can learn plenty from a group of strategic thinkers.

Jeff Thanks for joining. You are definately part of the MasterMind.
You can get more familiar with the concept if you read the articles in this group.
Welcome. ciao, P>}

I joined because your inperson groups are outstanding. I have used the power of mastermind so many times and it is so effective. Thanks for doing this.

I'm in a current Mastermind group, have attended several through Biznik (although, I'm noticing that there are wide interpretations to the concept of "MasterMind"), and am looking to just see what others are doing.
Is this an online Mastermind, meaning should I expect to share and offer my "mastermind" ideas to others who are looking for support? Or are these just folks who are in face to face mastermind groups, looking for guidance? Both?
I often have MUCH better ideas for others than myself (which is why Masterminding rocks), but right now, am feeling disconnected from a sincere larger group (we only have two in my group) who I can truly collaborate with.
I'm still figuring out what exactly I enjoy doing (have many talents and skills, but what is the best service I can provide?) and maybe a larger group would help.
Look forward to being a more active participant.

Terra, Thanks, as always.
Becca, Mastermind groups vary by technique. The only purpose is to tap into the valuable resource which surrounds us and when we choose to get connected to it.
On average my groups are face to face, small, drop in with calmer energy. You go away with many ideas to move you down the road.
Check out my articles on Mastermind to get a good flavor of what I have to offer. There are other Mastermind groups around the sound. They are all different. I like Lisa Bradleys, once a month group in Seattle.

I joined because I only learned of MM groups this year and have since joined a group. I find it a powerful way to create a momentum for action and then to hold myself accountable. In addition, I love the creativity that emerges. Looking forward to the being part of this group and I too will take a look at your articles. Thanks

I joined this group because I want to be able to network with like minded business people. I believe that we can all help each other out by networking and referring someone to a particular business that is known to the group, and that business has a reputable reputation. Sometimes its very difficult dealing with businesses that are unknown, so lets get to know one another and what our businesses are all about.
Thanks,
Ben
