Oh, and I live in Fremont. Don't want to drive to the East side, or Everett or Tacoma. :-)
Rehearsal Room
The ideal space is sound isolated enough that I don't bother other people if I decide to play with a drummer, and I don't get bothered by any loud neighbors (other musicians, traffic, etc) if I'm in a writing mood. Does such a place exist? I'm open to moving, if there's house for rent (with a basement?) that is within my budget ($1,000 - $1,500)... or a practice room to rent ($0 to $400)... perhaps an office space that isn't being utilized after hours?

Hi Alek,
TPS (Theatre Puget Sound) rents out rehearsal space very cheaply. It might be noisy but you can make quite a bit of noise. Go to www.tpsonline.org.

Hi Alek, My studio would be fine for part of that, but one persistent dog can be a real issue at times. For my piano recital, which was outside, I had to go to each neighbor relevant and let them know the hours of my recital! Good luck and I'll let you know if I hear of something, Katy Katy's Musikgarten - children's musical literacy from birth to 9yo, when all children can learn all musical fundamentals.
