This group is open to in-house, agency or freelance internet marketers working in the field of Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, PPC & Social Media Optimization. If you're doing affiliate traffic, we'll let you in if you don't tell our friends.

The goal of this group is to improve our skills & networks. That, and to get out of the office for a while.

Here's a bit more info on the group's founders:

Carl Larson, GM of Search Engine Optimist, originally founded the group while moonlighting as an SEO & found it was great uncovering all the great SEO strategies with other SEO's, curious small business owners and anyone interested in the topic. The conversations became incredibly fruitful and inspiring for many who leveraged SEO in a DIY fashion or even asked Carl or other SEO's who dropped by for further help.

Brandon Na, Principal of Seattle Organic SEO, joined as recently as February 2011 and found the people who were coming out including even founder of Biznik Lara Feltin and Community Manager Matt Lawrence were awesome. It was a great group of people that simply just seemed to enjoy asking questions and literally exploring various ideas within Search Marketing. He found it so appealing, he agreed to take over part of the organizing responsibilities.
