Subscribe to West Seattle Business Owners - Discussion Are you a Westie?

Here's another opportunity for us to connect and introduce our West Seattle-selves and what we're doing in this great neighborhood across from Puget Sound (working? living? both?). Don't live or work here, but just interested in connecting with this group? That's great too!

I'd love to grow this group so I'm curious - where is everyone? I live and work just down the hill from the Junction, but I'm forever trying out the different coffee shops in the area (I know who's got free-wi-fi and great espresso and who's really got the best cupcakes). As a coach I do a lot of work over the phone, but love to visit my clients face to face when we're using my experiential tools for discovering and a-ha's.

My wife Jen bought a house last year on 17th and Barton. We love West Seattle: plenty of parking, lots of parks, a golf course, great restaurants and bars, our own ferry, and Alki is the best. Cactus is our favorite restaurant. She's a biznik member too (green housecleaner) and I do web development. Thanks for starting this group!

Welcome Noah! Thanks for posting and joining the group. Do you know about the West Seattle Blog? www.westseattleblog.com It's a great resource for the community and for businesses. And welcome to West Seattle!

I work out of my home office on Chilberg, just a block away from the Emma Schmitz Memorial Viewpoint on Beach Drive. It's great for spontaneous walks!

My office is at home, in the ghetto of West Seattle (17th & Barton), but since I clean houses, I work all over Seattle. My husband Noah and I love living here! We love that there are pockets of neighborhoods, each with it's own bar, cafe and park.

I'm on 35th south of the water-tower ... kiddy-corner to "great bull" on John's Deli ... and now conveniently located next door to Coffee on the Heights (not the laundromat, the 4-plex next door)

Glad you started this group! I'd love to know and meet more business owners in West Seattle. I'm hoping to start offering some hands-on workshops as soon as I have a moment to put together the pieces and location ... tho one-on-one is also available ...

Hope to meet you all soon!

and, yes, the West Seattle Blog is the best!

I live just above the Fauntleroy ferry dock and have a shop I work out of off Roxbury by the bowling alley. I have lived in West seattle all my life and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. This group sounds like a great idea and I am looking forward to meeting all off you,

I'm on Fauntleroy now, having moved here from Copenhagen, Denmark. West Seattle has really grown on me over the 4 years, I've been here. I love the local community, the boutiques and the people. It's a great place to live and run a small business.
