FAQ > Can I temporarily hide my profile?

Yes. Hiding your profile is like closing your account without actually closing it, and is a good choice if you want to take a break from Biznik but leave the option to return later. It's also a way to hide your profile until you've got it completed and ready for the world to see. Here's what to do:

Head to your profile. Click on "Account" tab. Scroll down until you see the "Privacy Settings" heading at the bottom of the center column. Click "Edit." Change the "Profile published" field to "no."

Once you've unpublished your profile, you will not be able to receive messages from other members. However, you will continue to receive official emails from Biznik. If you want to stop receiving all messages, you can select that on your privacy settings as well.

When you are ready to publish your profile, simple change the "Profile published" field to "yes."
