I agree..I read it too. It's a little more oriented to the corporate scene but very good.

Use online marketing to your advantage
I highly recommend the book The New Rules of PR and Marketing by David Meerman Scott to anyone who wants to learn more about the power of online marketing. It not only explains why every business should be using the Internet to promote themselves but also how. Topics include blogging, online pressrooms, social networking, and podcasting. A lot of the content is available in various sources online but the book gathers it all together in a single source. I give this book to all of my clients who are new to e-marketing and do not understand its full potential.

Cathy, thanks for comment. I agree that some of the ideas seem better suited to larger companies. At the same time, I think that any business can benefit from the sections on blogs and website content. Creating "buyer personas" is very easy for anyone to do. It just takes a little thought and research into your customer base. And with the ease of Wordpress (not to mention that it is free), anyone who has something to say and is willing to write about it on a regular basis can start one.
