The Guerilla Exhibitor™ Core - Next Session Nov. 15 & 16

Working Artists LLC produces a series of training programs geared toward developing business skill sets and incorporating them into the everyday thinking and acting of being an artist or creative pro.

The Guerilla Exhibitor™ Core is the first of these courses, designed to offer participants both book and hands-on learning in effectively setting up and managing your arts or creativity-based business.

The course begins with a two-day intensive filled with workbook exercises, empowerment practices, partner and group activities, planning activities and team building exercises, and is followed up by a 12-week planning and implementation process, supported through coaching calls, e-mail support, peer-support, and more.

This training will give artists the background and resources to manage their careers. The process will address the psychological barriers to success that artists face, as well as present practical information to use immediately to self-promote their work or find the appropriate people to help promote them.

This course has two components: a two-day intensive workshop, and 12 weeks of plan implementation follow-up support and coaching. Course fee is $695/participant and covers the cost of 2-day weekend workshop, manual, continuing instruction, and implementation follow-up.

The training will address: Beliefs and Their Effect on Your Life What holds you back? Identifying and busting up belief systems that stand in the way of making money with your art.

Planning Your Work as a Professional Artist Guidelines to setting up a studio and business, addressing legal issues and implementing business systems. Strategies for managing money and accounting. Building a contact database of fans, supporters and collectors. Building balance into your schedule.

Working Your Plan Setting the milestones and expected results for: Launching Your Event or Offer, Marketing, Web site development and online promotions.

DATE/TIME Saturday & Sunday, November 15 and 16 - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
