Three Little Words; 16 Little Letters Mean You Can Have Anything

C. M. I. stands for Clear Mental Image; a concept that W.D. Wattles taught as the foundation of all Manifestation. There are no more powerful words when it comes to creating the Life or Business of your dreams.

In "the Science of Getting Rich" Master Wattles tell us; "You must form a clear and definite mental picture of what you want. You cannot transmit an idea unless you have it yourself.  You must have it before you can give it, and many people fail to impress the thinking substance because they have themselves only a vague concept of the things they want to do, to have, or to become.

He went on in the same chapter to say, "If you were going to send a wireless message to a friend, you would not send the letters of the alphabet in their order and let him construct the message for himself, nor would you take words at random from the dictionary. You would send a coherent sentence, one, which meant something. When you try to impress your wants upon the thinking substance, remember that it must be done with a coherent statement. You must know what you want and be specific and definite. You can never get rich or start the creative power into action by sending out unformed longings and vague desires."

An Architect creates a building by going through various stages of a process in which the initial idea become increasingly clear and eventually produced in its final physical form.  He starts with the work of the Programming Phase in which, Programming is the activity of determining the "program", or set of needs that a building needs to fulfill.  Next he engages in the Schematic Design Phase in which the focus is on the "scheme", or overall high-level design. Here, minor details are ignored to instead focus on creating a coherent solution that encompasis the project as a whole.  Subsequent to that is the Design Development Phase in which the scheme is refined into the final design. In previous phases, the focus has been on the project as a whole. During Design Development, in becomes important to give individual attention to each aspect, each space and each detail of the project.  And finally there occurs the Construction Document Phase, in which, the focus shifts from design to communicating the design and providing all information necessary for construction.

Yet each of those phases are connected holonically to the overall process. In this connection the overall intention is to bring to bear increasing levels of clarity of the initial concept.  This paradigm is just what we must learn to practice in our processes of manifestation.  From our primary work of detecting/analyzing the Program, to the eventual communication of the Clear Mental Image to the 'Thinking Stuff' we are obliged to see, smell, touch, taste, and hear the final construction as though it were already in front of us.

Still that representation of the object of intention must have one more dimension of being in order to manifest, which is feeling.  You must have an emotional component in the process.  You must desire the object of your intention as clearly as you perceive it with all faculties of your mind.

Master Wattles stated with any equivocation; "As the sailor has in mind the port toward which he is sailing the ship, you must keep your face toward it all the time. You must no more lose sight of it than the helmsman loses sight of the compass. It is not necessary to take exercises in concentration, nor to set apart special times for prayer and affirmation, nor to “go into the silence,” nor to do occult stunts of any kind.  Some of these things are well enough, but all you need is to know what you want and to want it badly enough so that it will stay in your thoughts. Spend as much of your leisure time as you can in contemplating your picture. But no one needs to take exercises to concentrate his mind on a thing, which he really wants. It is the things you do not really care about which require effort to fix your attention upon them."

This is the core of the process of all manifestation.  It works as truly in the process of creating a tasty dish for dinner as well as the vastest project of civil engineering.  Three simple words and 16 little letters are the stuff that dreams are made from.

Great article, Albert. CMI - See my....

It truly does work. One can create what one envisions; I have witnessed this in my own life and trust the process. Manifesting is always about flowing energy and its power is as magnificent as it is intriguing.

    Thanks for sharing, Lisa

This is like a business plan for your life. You are so right. When we focus on what we want...not what we don't have/scarcity...but what we want and INTEND to get and stay crystal clear about it, things will come together in a way that supports us getting it. This has happened to me time after time.

    Oh my.

I am so glad I turned off the radio this morning,--- where news of California bankruptcy and economic distress every where was featured and extrapolated upon---only to tune into this biznik group, and your article.

I needed the reminder like a desert traveler needs an oasis. I cannot tell you how often envisioning has worked for me...when I remember to do so! There's no better time to put it into action than now.

Happy envisioning folks! Thanks again Al.
