My background in national ad agencies on Fortune 500 accounts trained me to be strategically on-target, and to work very efficiently. Yet I became frustrated working for large organizations that were bogged down in layers and politics. The best work would often die in committee; what was even worse was knowing that their small clients weren't getting the same service as the accounts with bigger pockets. So I have taken what I know and put it to rewarding use with deserving smaller companies and entrepreneurs. After 26 years in the field, I have a depth and breadth of experience that is hard to match.
I think fast, and I'm not a designer who tries to bend clients to my creative will; I have a collaborative working style and I'm very focused on creative solutions that cut through the clutter to solve my client's particular challenges.
Additionally, I teach creativity workshops that help people identify, unlock and develop their creative passions. These classes use Julia Cameron's "Artist's Way" book as a base and also contain other source material that I've been working with since 1998. Across the board, every participant in my classes leaves the course a different -- and much happier -- person than they were when they began.
