What Allan does
I counsel, coach, teach and train people in proactive career change, job search, interview and salary negotiation success strategies.
I am currently president of the Puget Sound Career Development Association
I am the author of, Memory Mining, Digging for Gems from Your Past Good Work along with several articles and past newsletters.
I am also a workshop presenter and part time instructor at Bellevue Community College.
What Allan does best
I truly enjoy preparing, coaching and mentoring people toward their highest and best work.
I also enjoy teaching classes and presenting public workshops on career subjects such as career planning, Memory Mining (an efective job interview prep tool), job interviewing and salary negotiation. My job interview skills course was featured in the Seattle Times (Seattle Times, Section J, How to ace the interview, by Sherleen Holt, October 20, 2002).
What does Allan need?
People to review my book, Memory Mining. Preferably people who are preparing for upcoming job interviews. I have great reviews from several academics and professional reviewers and I appreciate each of those. However, its the user community that I want to hear from. I know from King County Library that they have several copies and can not keep them on the shelf. If you check at any given time you will find that they have a waiting list. It is also available on Amazon.com, but, I need your feedback. Anyone, Help! If you have used this book, or know of someone who has, please provide me your - or their - review.
Thanks, Allan Hay
