  • Thank you for bringing up such a great topic. There IS so much potential for growth, both personally and in opening another level of honesty in one's relationship to another human being.

I feel compelled to share the biggest thing I've learned about approaching uncomfortable conversations, which relates directly to what Jeanne said:

For all the time you can spend worrying about what you (and someone else) are going to say, to really express the difficult thing takes usually less than 30 seconds. With practice, it becomes like jumping in a cold river. It's normal to feel the excitement and hesitation before taking the plunge, but it's always worth it.

  • I'm going to have to cancel. Sorry to miss you all and your creative brains, but I have an online project that will need my attention in the morning.

Thank you so much for starting this. It's great to see what discussion has already come out of it, and the event hasn't even happened yet! I'll look forward to it in the future.

  • Thank you Karrie!

I just banged out my packages last night over the picnic table by Lake Wenatchee. I appreciate the reminder to keep my insights fresh by reviewing the notes. It will take me a while to integrate all that I learned during this workshop!

I am so energized, inspired and focused as a result of this Saturday's work. Thank you for sharing your brilliance with us yet again!

  • Sweet! I get to be the first to RSVP.

I've been looking forward to this. Interesting that my client I was JUST talking to asked me about packages- coincidence? I think not. :) Can't wait.

    Thanks in advance! ~Allison

  • I think I may be in.

This may be complicated (or not at all), but what if there was a central site of some sort where each of us could post our 'at-home' business hours for that week? We could then check the board for who else is working that day, and have 3 or 4 check-in points as options to sign up for.

For example, you look at Thursday morning and see that there are 2 others working at that time. Those three send messages to each other at 9/10 with proposed goals, then check in at 1 with a progress report.

I find that I can plan a 3-hour block to work at home, but with no one to be accountable to, I am not as productive as I could be. I would love to be that motivator for someone else, too.

Thanks for starting this discussion, Leif.

  • Closet overhauls? A kitchen makeover? Fine-tuning of your kid's room? I will be looking to redo my marketing materials in the next few months, including my website, and I like what I've seen of your work, as well as your enthusiasm for life in general.

    Let me know! -Allison

  • I would love to be a practice cranio-sacral person for you. I had one session about 10 years ago and saw the most amazing colors afterward. Please let me know if I am one of your 10.

    Thank you, Allison

  • I tried searching for a massage therapist today, and after going to a specific profile, could not get back to my original search results, but had to retype 'massage' every time. Just one extra step. Very excited about searching forums eventually.

Thank you for this great site to use!

  • Most of the time it's follow-ups for me, too. That or inspirations or creative ideas about problems when my mind starts to unwind. I like the pen and paper approach, but after getting settled in, my new alternative is jott.com. It's a free service which transcribes spoken word into an e-mail/text message to yourself or someone else. I have it on speed-dial and can just say my notes to myself in the dark. Done.

  • I love my Blackberry, and am a Mac user, but have not yet figured out how to sync it! I have OS X. Glad to hear it's easy. I have a few help-options to explore, but may be back for troubleshooting assistance.

Annie, have fun with your new tech-toy!
