I am the owner and operator of a national online business directory for all self-employed parents. Since becoming a new parent, I have grown very passionate about a significant issue: Parents who would like to stay home and raise their children, but simply can not afford to do so. This is a difficult situation that many parents are faced with because all too often there is little or no choice. Mothers and Fathers want to have the opportunity to play a role in their children's daily development but often struggle financially on one income. They have no choice but to find inexpensive daycare because staying at home is not an option. My goal is to help these family run businesses gain exposure for the work that they do. In todays society they average family with a college education connect exist on one income the way OUR parents were able to afford for us as kids. We are passionate about giving parents a choice. Our site is a national online directory of home- based businesses run by stay at home parents. It is also a community resource dedicated to helping parents who want to stay at home find financial opportunities and support. Our aim is to give parents a choice and to educate consumers on the value of buying from a stay at home parent.

The basic principle is simple. By buying what you would normally buy, but choosing to purchase it from a parent who is running his/her own home based business, you'd be helping a mother or father stay home and raise their children. It's something that people can feel good about.

We want to encourage consumers to make a conscious choice on what products they buy and the economy they'll be supporting when they make their every day purchases.

Just get me going and I don't stop. I am a terrific motivator. I find something that I am passionate about and I don't stop until it['s accomplished. Although I have things I need to work on, I am great about leading others to do a good job. I believe very much in the power of positive thinking, and I see people accomplish 10 times more than they ever thought simply by having a leader believe in them. Encouragement goes a long way. Too many leaders and bosses break people down and dioscourage people from their own talents. I believe that if everyone was working to their best potential, and they weren't so afraid to take risks (or lose their stable job) the world would be a better and more productive place.

I need more listings for our directory. My goal is to have every possible self-employed parent listed in our database so that anything consumers every search for will come up as being sold by a parent. More specifically, I am looking for Fathers who work at home and REAL services. Every city is listed in our database, but since we are only a month old, we need the directory to grow if consumers are going to see us as a valuable resource.
