I'm best at listening to your story and helping you realize the most important aspects of your well-being. No detail about your health history is too small for me. I love to piece it all together and figure things out.
I use the following modalities in my practice: botanical medicine bodywork dietary guidance lifestyle counseling hydrotherapy flower essence therapy * homeopathy
I also use standard and naturopathic diagnostic labs when necessary to determine underlying issues in your body.

Education
I graduated from the CNME-accredited National College of Naturopathic Medicine. (http://www.ncnm.edu/). I have a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a certificate in Midwifery. I went to James Madison University in Virginia for my B.S. in Biology and Research. While there, I studied and created scientific illustrations of insect genitalia. It didn't take me long to realize I didn't want to spend my career in that arena!
Experience
I have been seeing patients in my private practice for over 2 years in Portland. Before that, I worked at Outside In, a clinic for homeless youth here in Portland, as a Medical Assistant for 6 years. As a medical student, I completed a 2-year internship in natural childbirth and holistic pediatrics with a year-long focus in naturopathic gynecology.
