Thriving and Not Just Surviving, a social affair.

If you are like most of us these days, work has become far more of a struggle than a fun time. We are doing our best to survive, but what about the possibility of thriving? Sounds nice, right?... Yes, it does!

I have this friend, Richard Baum. Many of you may already know him and his great coaching work. He is going to help us all start to THRIVE!

Richard and I are having a "jam session" at my house; a few of our fellow Bizniks to meet, chat, eat and plan. It is enough to survive these times, but why not have more? Lets also continue to grow in our industry or find one in which we can.

Biznik Partnership Story Telling

I'm compiling stories of Bizniks who have met each other here on Biznik, and have turned that into a business collaboration.

Hotel rooms reserved for BizJam 08'

Hey everyone!

In the hopes of making sure all of the out of town BizJam attendees are able to lay their heads down after a long day of gleaning, we have reserved a block of rooms at a discounted BizJam rate. The Ramada Inn located in downtown Seattle has set aside 10 rooms (all they had available) at the discounted rate of $119.00 per night. This will be for a room with one queen size bed.

The room must be reserved by you no later then July 4th. After which they go back up to the public and their higher rates.

Please send an e-mail or call requesting a room. The block is reserved under BizJam so be sure to mention that or you may not get the discount.

Contribute to the monthly Biznik happy hour event door prize pool. Phew!

Biznik is in the process of planning/starting a monthly networking event for all of our Supporting Members.

In my hunt for a new venue, cool music, great apps and flowing drinks, it occurred to me that we should also add a "door prize", if you will, to the first 25-50 Bizniks to arrive for the fun.

Wow! What a great way to say thanks while, more importantly, help Bizniks show their stuff, get their company and name out there, and bring in more business.

We are now looking feverishly for some "gifts".

Who out there is interested in getting some visibility for their business? Denise at Urbanabox is donating all of the wrapping and beautifying so all you need to do it throw your ideas, and products into the ring...
