  • Hi Jacob,

People's experiences vary a lot post op after cholecystectomy.

In some cases, people have suffered for months or years at hardly the smell of mildly heavy foods (higher oil/fat content) and after surgery, they experience a radical improvement in their ability to digest a broad variety of foods.

For others, they suffer chronic ongoing difficulties with digestion including abdominal cramping and bowel changes after the surgery.

I have had great success getting folks back on track with acupuncture. On occasion I have also used Chinese herbal medicine...but I generally start with acupuncture alone. I work with dietary/digestive issues a lot in my practice.

I do accept CIGNA and would be happy to consult with your friend by phone or email.

  • Hello Cassy, Kristian, Shannon, Christopher Sean, Sandi and Darius,

Wow, what a lovely time last night. On such hot nights, it definitely takes some extra effort to head across town and show up to a 'networking' event with unfamiliar folks.

I had a really fun time with all of you. The gelato, leisurely pace and lively dialogue were an absolute manifestation of the Italian passseggiata. I look forward to seeing you at future events. Truly a pleasure to meet/talk with each of you.

  • Hi Miriam, We'll be the lively bunch wandering along the canal from the PCC heading west...then we'll walk up the hill to Peak Park, where YOU guided us last time. WHAT A FIND! Maybe you can join us along the way.

  • Hi Corbett & Vicki, Disappointingly, I'll be practicing in Tacoma the day of your next meeting. The group I attended in May stands amongst the most delightful and ease filled Biznik events I've attended. Stimulating, nourishing, thought provoking. I'll hope to make it the next round.

  • Hi Kristian,

I'll send you this in message form. It takes awhile to learn the nuts & bolts. Yes, you do receive a reminder from Biznik and as a host, I generally send a note out to folks the day prior. Will look forward to meeting you.

  • Great timing Suzanne! I really enjoyed our dialogue at the Creative Professionals event back in May.

AND, I've begun thinking in the past two weeks, 'hmmm, feels like time to refine the bio'.
Great venue and chance to do some necessary work with peer support. Thanks for hosting.

  • Hello everyone,

I sent this to those of you who rsvped before Monday evening. So this is really for anyone who decides to join in our walk between now and Tuesday PM.

Thanks for the posts, the rsvps, the landmark corrections. My blundering of Lenin & Stalin wouldn't really lead one to believe I studied comparative politics as an undergrad now would it? Would be a very different world if Stalin were lording over Fremont.

A rather robust and fascinating group of individuals is coalescing for this Walk & Talk.

Is there is someone you have recently connected with through Biznik, intended to schedule that follow up cuppa and not yet made it happen? Consider sending them a quick email and inviting them to our passeggiata (this time only a spelling correction...here's to life long learning).

The more the livelier. I look forward to meeting you all Tuesday evening.

  • Hi Brenda, I won't be able to attend this time around. Thanks for last week.
For those considering the event, Brenda is very knowledgeable, great at managing time and responding to individual questions in a way that is both accessible and thorough. Take advantage of the expertise she is offering freely.

My use of QB is pretty straight forward. I would be interested in some tips about generating reports. See you Friday. Amy

  • Not sure if we'll head up the hill or down the harbor steps and along the water.

If you haven't RSVP'd and find yourself with a bit of time during the hour, give me a call and we'll let you know where we are.

  • John!

Can you use the phrase 'your ears must have been burning' if you were only thinking about the person? Indeed, we're overdue for a visit.
Email and let's set up a cuppa sometime soon.

  • In the end, Dave and I chatted by phone and agreed we'll try an in person networking meeting in the months ahead. I hope to host an event in late March or April depending on a future Cork Mixer. Stay tuned South Sounders.

I was very appreciative of peoples' thoughtful comments rather than just dropping off the RSVP list. I look forward to more connection in the South Sound business community.
