Education

Mostly self taught. Some college; University of Montana, Art Institute of Seattle. Primarily taught by Bill Cumming via workshops/studio visits, which is how I gained my understanding and use (or lack there of) of color.

Experience

Painter/artist for over twenty years. Proficient in the use of acrylic, tempera, oil, and watercolor. Drawing media, graphite, charcoal, and ink. Also producing handpulled printmaking techniques including, traditional etching, solar etching, linoleum block printing, and silkscreen.

Current paintings are characterised by color and shape relationships over form, though form is an important element in my ongoing faux portriat work.

Gallery affiliations/representations; Seattle Art Museum Gallery, Seattle, WA; Lucia Douglas Gallery, Bellingham, WA

See my website for resume/specific shows and images of paintings.
