I do a LOT of things! Here are my favorite three:

1. I teach a creative writing workshop called the Fairy Tale Factory.

2. I coach people through the creative process, from constructive feedback to setting deadlines to loosening up creative blocks.

3. I write for MSN and anyone else who tickles my fancy or my checkbook in the right way.

Every facet of my work reflects my main passion: helping people blossom as happy, creative beings.

B.A. with Honors in English Lit from the University of Texas at Austin. My mentor was Betty Sue Flowers, editor and creative consultant for the Power of Myth series by Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers.

Five years of study (and still going!) with Alima Pat Hamilton at the Northwest School of Healing, specializing in reiki and earth energy.

Ten years of experience as a writer, editor, and photographer.

One year of formal experience as a creative facilitator, which doesn't count all those years of informal practice with my wonderful, brilliant artist friends.

Two years of experience as a working healer.
