I specialize in event/festival management, primarily with a marketing/sponsorship emphasis but I also have done production, logistics, and booking. Music is a passion of mine, so I mostly do music related events. I also am a big fan of small businesses and my new business is about finding effective ways for them to use events & music to build and strengthen their consumer base.

The name Combo Platter comes from my passion for all things marketing, events, music and Tex-Mex.

Proactive leader and team-builder, creative, flexible, mentor, advocate. Willing to ask pointed questions and dig deep for the win-win. I work very well alone and I also love being part of a team.

In the form of new business, I need festivals and events looking for a manager/consultant with strong experience; and consumer businesses looking for marketing options. Of course, the bigger your marketing/advertising budget the better the bang, but even if your budget is miniscule, I can work with that.

I would be willing to trade for someone to help me organize my workspace and my business reading materials. Could also use a good chiropractor and massage therapist.

Degree in Music Business from the Art Insitute of Dallas

As an event manager I have had roles in the following festivals: Bumbershoot, WaMu Family 4th (of July on Lake Union), U-District Street Fair, Fremont Oktoberfest, Summer Brewfest, Island Festival, North Texas New Music Festival, Greater Southwest Guitar Show.

As a marketer, I have managed pre-event/onsite/post-event execution of campaigns at: SXSW, Santa Fe Film Festival, Santa Barbara Film Festival, Phoenix Film Festival, Natural Products Expo West, Atlantis Music Festival, Wakarusa, Ponderosa Stomp, Superfly during Jazzfest, MusicFest Northwest, Seattle Music Awards, Ft. Collins Brewfest, many more.
