  • Enhanced Functionality: Leverage Your Social Networks

We've enhanced the tools for sharing Biznik content with other Internet destinations. Look for the 'Share' icon in the left sidebar and publish updates to Facebook, Twitter, and all the other popular services to let your extended network know what you are up to on Biznik!

We will continue to enhance and refine this system to even more tightly integrate these capabilities where appropriate. Stay tuned.

  • New group feature!

We've just deployed a new feature for Biznik Groups, the 'Daily Digest.' I'd love your feedback.

If you subscribe to the daily digest, we'll send you a daily summary of group activity - but only if something actually happened. You'll find the control for the daily digest in the left sidebar on your group page. To turn on the digest, click the 'Enable activity digest' link. To turn it off, the link will be 'Disable activity digest.'

Each of your groups can be controlled independently. So, if you are really interested in the action in 2 or 3 of your groups, but only occasionally check in on the rest, you can enable the daily digest for just those you want to keep up to speed with. The default for the setting is off, so you'll need to proactively enable the digest for those groups you'd like to follow closely.

    Enjoy!

All of the members of the ClubVIP group have had the digest enabled for this group. Sorry to be so bold, but I'd love to get your feedback on the usefulness of this feature. A single click can turn it off if you do not find the functionality useful.

    Enjoy!

  • You are our most valuable resource...

And we need your help. As Biznik has evolved, we've targeted a variety of features and benefits to entice the community to support the business side of Biznik with a financial commitment in the form of premium memberships. You have obviously demonstrated your commitment to the community and your own business by becoming Biznik ProVIP members. While we work to constantly improve the value of the Biznik service and the Biznik community, we'd like to solicit your feedback on some of our thoughts about the future.

One of our next initiatives will be delivering effective tools designed to assist members in geographic areas outside of Seattle interested in kick-starting their local Biznik community.

What are some of the most important pieces of information you feel a new community leader will need to be effective in establishing and growing a vibrant Biznik community in their city?

When you talk about Biznik, what are some of the most effective descriptions you use with others to explain the value of becoming a member of the community? Effective = they join Biznik.

What pieces are missing from the Biznik experience that present a challenge getting Biznik started in locations outside Seattle?

We look forward to your feedback!
