  • International Travel

    Help! =]

I need to purchase some international airline tickets and I want to make sure I'm getting the best deal.

I'm aware of all of my online options... Can I get a better deal offline? Where? How? Who?

[Note: I'm looking into purchasing 4 tickets... online, each ticket is going to cost from $1200 - $1400]

    Thanks,

  • What are you doing for New Years?

    Hello Everyone,

A group of friends and I are working on plan A, B, C, D, E, for New Years. For ones of those plans we are looking for a nice romantic restaurant that we can go to and bring in the New Year.

Where are you going/doing for New Years?

What places in Seattle [nice restaurants] are open at night on New Years Eve/Day?

    Early cheers,

    -Andrey

  • I Like You Because…

I'm pretty sure we all know who likes what on Biznik.

What we don't know is who on Biznik do you like and why. Its nice to see what people see in others.

I'll start off by listing my "I Like You's."

    I Like You Because...

Justin BiZi Bee: You’re the friendliest guy on Biznik.

Anita: You’re thousands of miles away yet your expertise is a click away.

Rebecca Wood: You are real and understanding.

Alex R.: I found out about Biznik by Googling your full name.

Howard: You’re not okay with “what is now,” but instead you keep learning new things and build new relationships.

Leila: You always have concrete ideas and know what you want.

Banu: You like to have fun on the forum.

Barry Hurd: You’re smart and I enjoy reading your comments.

Kevin Selkowitz: You’re smart and I enjoy reading your comments.

Michael Halligan: We have a lot of the same interests.

    Dan: Biznik is your baby.

Jeff Collins: You’re probably the most successful businessman on Biznik.

[I know that this isn't everyone, but when I have more I'll add as a reply]

Now it's your turn! Who do you like and why? [If you forget someone, you can add them on later!]

Bonus points to the person that has the longest list!

  • Hey You?! Inspire me!

[For those of you that this applies]

    1. If you were to sell your business now or in the near future, how much would you sell it for?

    2. Have you received any offers so far? If so, how much? Any interesting stories?

[How is this inspiring? Well... When someone offers $_ _ _ _ _ _ for your business [even if you have no intention of selling], its usually a good thing. Someone else sees that your business has worth. Hopefully, the offer is not cheap... that can REALLY be uninspiring ;] ]

I look forward to reading your reply!

  • You Know You're Addicted...

Are you addicted to Biznik? What are the signs of addiction?

I'll start off first and we all can add on to the list with multiple replies.

    1. You know you're addicted to Biznik when you spend more time on Biznik.com than working on your own business.

    2. You know you're addicted to Biznik when you notice that the only friends you have own their own business.

    3. You know you're addicted to Biznik when your wife blocks Biznik.com.

    4. You know you're addicted to Biznik when the highlight of your day is finding out that you moved up 1 spot on the Members list.

    5. You know you're addicted to Biznik when you post your birthday as an event.

Lets see what you come up with!

  • Your Picture Tip

I don't know if this was discussed before... just the same...

To avoid distortion of your picture, resize & crop it on your computer to 160 pixels x 160 pixels before uploading it to your profile.

    Enjoy,

  • Successful Invite = Auto Added To Network

    Hello Dan,

It think that it would be awesome if the friends that I invite, who use the invite link and register, would be auto add to my network.

I have no clue which friends signed up directly, through my invite, or not at all. I don't want to search for 30 different names... or re-invite everyone again. =]

    I hope its a good a idea,

  • What's the smell of success?

Okay, you opened your own business, you worked hard, and you were one of the few that made it. Tell us about it!

    1. What would succeeding at your business have meant for you when you just started your business?

    2. What does succeeding at your business mean now... Now that you have a success business?

    3. Would you do it again [If you had to relive your life]?

    Thanks,

  • What was your biggest business mistake?

Everyone makes business mistakes that waste a lot of time and/or money. Help the Biznik community out by posting the business mistake [or mistakes] that you made, so that the rest of us can avoid making the same mistake.

I'm interested in seeing what we can come up with.
