I sew creative clothing pieces by collaborating with people who have a particular character they would like to portray. I've been sewing for 30 years, and have been working for myself for 3 years now building relationships and enjoying repeat clients. I cover the gamet with skills and creativity. I also do alterations.

I've been sewing since I was 6 and went on to compete for 9 years in the 4-H clothing project with a National winning record book for Presidential award. At 16, I was modeling my fashions on the runway in L.A. I have worked with some of the finest tailors learning suit making, costuming, corset making, traditional tartan 8 yard kilt making by hand. My specialty is making highly detailed historicly cut coats out of non-traditional fabric. I am especially interested in helping the guys out there that feel like the girls can buy all the cool clothes, but guys are kinda left out. I sew with faux fur, real fur, denim, leather, suitings, spandex, satin, sequins, and hand sew linings into assymetrical garments. I am very detail oriented, and hopefully fun to work with.

My website has been reserved for 4 years now as www.lotusluxuries.com and I have lots of ideas and pics and a fairly clear head about what I want, but just don't have the time to learn to build it myself and can't quite afford a serious one just yet.

I would love a Bernina sewing machine and some vinyl for my floor.

Of course, I always need more clients...
