Deepavali is the most important festival of India and its synonymous with light.On this day people give expression to their happiness by lighting earthen 'diyas' (lamps), decorating the houses, bursting firecrackers and inviting near and dear ones to their households. The lighting of lamps is a way of paying obeisance to god for attainment of health, wealth, knowledge, peace and fame.It is through the light that the beauty of this world is revealed or experienced. It has always been a symbol of whatever is positive in our world of experience.
As per Hinduism, darkness represents ignorance, and light is a metaphor for knowledge. Therefore, lighting a lamp symbolizes the destruction, through knowledge, of all negative forces.
I wish all fellow Bizniks a very happy and prosperous Deepavali - May it bring prosperity to their business, happiness to their family/friends and success in whatever they do...
Recent came across a article on Sitepoint where it was claimed that every 1 out of 4 Windows Vista users have reverted back to Windows XP. Recently i too switched over to Vista but my experience with it left a lot to be desired. It just did not work for me the way i expected it to given all the hype around it which promted me to make a switch for it.Finally after living with Vista for a month i have reverted back to my old faithful Windows XP and am glad that i made the decision.
Iam curious to know what is the experience of other Biznik members who use Windows OS in this regard? Which Windows OS do you prefer Vista or XP?

Hello to the vibrant Biznik community!
Finally could access once again one of my favourite websites ie Biznik as was away for almost 15 days and was unable get a pulse of what's goin on here at Biznik during this period.
Have relocated to the city of Bharatpur recently which is home to world famous Kaladeo Bird Sanctuary. If any Bizniker is visiting the same, drop me a line- it would be a honour to be your host...

To all the fellow Bizniks who use WordPress, the WordPress community has released WordPress 2.5 There are number of significant improvement in this release. Now users have option to upload multiple files, one click plugin update, customizable dashboard, built-in galleries, media library, cookie encryption, full screen writing and search for posts and pages.There are many more new features for both developers and users.
