Working together to create a positive relationship

When we start a project together, we work together to define and document goals and expectations. Once agreed upon, I use this framework as the basis for development of a fully integrated strategic solution for your project.

Lolalu Design is easy to work with. You always know the status of your project at each stage of the process. I keep your project on schedule and on budget with frequent communications and timely responses from you.

Steps to Success

My process consists of three distinct steps in the lifecycle of a project.

Consultation I work with you to pinpoint goals of your business, your target audience, and your specific project objectives. This can be done in a face-to-face meeting or on the telephone and through email.

Solution I explore several concepts based on your input and my research until I have a winning idea to present. Based on your feedback, I take the opportunity to refine the details of the design.

Implementation Once the design is approved, I coordinate the printing, or hosting and testing. The result of this phase is your finished piece printed and delivered or your website live on the Internet.

I'm great at multi-tasking and organization! I'm used to working on multiple projects at any given time. I'm good at both print and web design and have learned ways to make me work faster and more efficient.

I'm looking for companies that contract out to freelancers like me for their web and print design. These are usually companies that have a niche market. For example, Sesame Communications offers websites for dentists and orthodontists that purchase their software. They contract with me to provide the website designs. Another example would be a company like Clear Source Marketing who contracts with me to provide print designs (brochures, rack cards, etc.) for their clients.

I have over 14 year of experience in both web and print design. Five of those years was working for corporations like vulcan, Inc. and The Seattle Times. I started my freelance business in January, 2006.
