What Ann does
I'm currently Program Manager for the Interra Project and really active in Sustainable Ballard as Community Coordinator. I'm passionate about sustainable community development and grassroots community organizing. I ponder, how can we create sustainable communites in this crazy age of globalization and lost connections with our neighbors, local businesses and community organizations?
What Ann does best
I'm a "Master" of The Natural Step framework for sustainable development. Last year I studied under the tutelage of the MASTER himself, Karl-Henrik Robert, founder of The Natural Step, in Karlskrona, Sweden. Check it out here: http://www.bth.se/tmslm.
I can frame issues from a whole systems perspective and lead groups to achieve shared goals. It's a process, but with the right people we can do anything together!
What does Ann need?
Opportunities to apply The Natural Step framework to your business and/or community.
A small group who wants to practice meditation. I'm inspired by Sogyal Rinpoche who wrote the "Tibetan Book for Living and Dying." Tibetan Buddhism is amazing and I want to integrate this philosophy more in my daily life.
