  What I have learned about self promotion on social network sites

  Is there anything you have regretted doing early on in your business development?

  I will rue the day I ever posted anything on linkedIN about my business page on facebook. Because now I get messages like this posted there.

  Please use your personal account for like/follow/join. Business account likes are not counted by Facebook.

  I don't mind folks posting that they found. I do dislike the request to use my personal account though and I suspect that the second sentence is false as I have liked many pages with my business page.

  Oh and the fact that my post on LinkedIn was over a year ago and I still get this stuff. I really wish I could erase it.

  So who else has regrets or thoughts?

  Do you ever get the feeling Facebook is taking lessons from MS?

  With all the updates, which require you to then set up your newsfeed again in a way you like it? This morning I felt like I do when I get a new version of Micro Soft Office suite and I have to go and figure out where things are and how to make it look like I want it look and feel again. It doesn't usually take me long, but it is annoying.

  The new Facebook Page Design

  Has everyone seen the new page design on facebook which allows you to 'log in' as your page and interact as your page in a new and different way?

  Some of my friends and I played around with it today and I just finished a blog to illustrate some clever tricks

  New to BizNik

  Hi I am new, I joined yesterday. I just recently created my own Virtual Administrative Assistant Service to help small business owners grow their business with out the added overhead cost of hiring a full time employee. I have been an assistant for ten years and I love helping people work on projects online. I very experienced with the internet and I have quickly picked up the concepts and ideas for social media networking especially content based Social Media. I look forward to connecting with a lot of folks and helping them grow their business.
